 Boehler Schmiedetechnik GmbH & Co KG (BSTG) is producing and delivering high-quality forgings made of nickel-base superalloys, titanium alloys or special steels. Parts for aircraft business, stationary steam and gas turbines as well as ship diesel engines are delivered all over the world. The main technical equipment at BSTG consists of the two worlds biggest screw presses as well as several hammers and smaller hydraulic presses, which together offer the possibility to produce forgings very close to net shape.The R&D department of BSTG is dealing with finite element simulation of forging and heat treatment processes, prototype development, new high tech materials like titanium-aluminides and machinery and process measurement.
